Yes! We can accept a donation even if you don’t have a tree for us to pick-up!
What YOU DO on tree pick-up day:
- Please leave your tree at the curb by 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 11th, 2025. We try to have our tree pick-up event on the second Saturday of January.
- Please remove all decorations, tinsel, and stands.
- NO FLOCKED TREES or WREATHS!
What WE DO on tree pick-up day:
- Trucks and trailers start routes all over town at 8:00 a.m. picking up trees.
- The teams unload their full trailers with the help of Recology and then head back out to pick up more trees!
- The goal is to have all trees pick-up by 4:00 p.m.
How can I pay?
Please complete the online order form. At checkout you can pay by:
- Credit Card
- PayPal
- Mail in a check with the mail-in payment form to: Troop 2 Chico, PO Box 7025, Chico, CA 95927
What if I have a question, need to report a change on my order, or it is now after 4:00 p.m. and my tree is still at the curb?

The Greatest Day of the Year is also a very busy day!
Please, please, please leave a message with your name, the name the order is under if different, tree pick-up address, best call back number, and issue.
Before Tree Pick-Up Day:
**Starting the day after Thanksgiving, the email and voicemail are check every 24-48 hours.**

Please state your name, the name the order is under if different, address of tree pick-up, best call back number, and issue.
Also include if you completed your order online, that date, and the invoice number; or if you mailed in your order.
